I completely understand you. We share our favorite character: Bert is so shy, insicure and scared, and nonetheless he did everything he could to protect the dearest person to him, failing anyway. He is so human and this is why I relete to him so much. It’s so unfair we’ll never know anything else about him. But at the same time I wouldn’t like to see Annie forever in the crystal. She doesn’t deserve this. I mean, she gave me way more feelings than Mikasa.

I’ve just grown to dislike annie for my own reasons and seeing her back grinds my gears even if it make sense narratively
