knightinironarmor:

if you think about it, SO MUCH of fandom animosity comes down to the fact that people are generally willing to suspend disbelief when it comes to their fave but then assign realistic stake and consequences to the characters they don’t like. you can hate tony for his previous role as a white billionaire in the military-industrial complex but think steve is above reproach when the rest of the world is reacting to the avengers as if they’re a military/interventionist force?? why, just because he’s a Good Guy who Means Well and Saves Lives? mmmm so does tony. etc etc etc

But Kylo Ren - **who is textually emulating Vader** - is a 1:1 nazi parallel and liking him in any fashion automatically makes you a nazi apologist. Makes sense.
