(idk what happened on twitter and frankly don’t want to) but the thing is that someone very deliberately stirred the pot because they’re upset content creators (a very small pool in the grand scheme of warrior fan artists) have migrated toward gallirei and that’s seen as betraying reibert as if said artists were locked into some contact that they had to remain faithful to it forever. reibert is not going anywhere and once the series is all said and done for gallirei will be just a blip on the radar and everyone will remember bertholdt and what he meant to reiner. 

also gallirei artists have been shit talked again and again and again and I don’t blame them if they lose their temper. like I’ve come close to losing mine over the almost unanimous hate toward ereri I have to hear so much. and even though it’s a very lowkey ship of mine (like gallirei) it sucks having something you like called sick by people you thought you could find community with because of your mutual love of characters and ships that we all know are hated by many other people.
